• Diploma in Project Management: Students are prepared for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), a globally recognized certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). This credential enhances their project management expertise, giving them a competitive edge both in Africa and internationally.

• Diploma in Built Environment (Construction) Project Management: Students work towards earning the PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP) credential, equipping them with specialized knowledge to manage complex construction projects, which are increasingly in demand across the continent and world.

CAPM Boot Camp and PMI-CP Support Included in Tuition

As part of our comprehensive offering, the CAPM Boot Camp is included in the Diploma in Project Management program fee. Similarly, PMI-CP exam preparation is integrated into the Diploma in Built Environment (Construction) Project Management program. This ensures that our students are fully prepared before graduation to pursue these certifications without the additional financial burden of external training costs.

Encouraging Academic Excellence with Exam Scholarships

To further support our students, SoAfrSPM offers exam scholarships to high-performing students. Those who achieve a 75% average in project management modules are eligible for a scholarship covering their CAPM or PMI-CP exam fees. This initiative rewards academic excellence, removes financial barriers, and encourages students to strive for top performance.

Collective Certification Exam Days

SoAfrSPM organizes bulk certification exam days for Diploma in Project Management students pursuing the CAPM credential. This collective exam experience fosters a sense of community among our students while providing a cost-effective certification option through bulk testing discounts. These exam days offer students a unified and supportive testing environment.  The first SoAfrSPM CAPM Day is Saturday, July 19, 2025.   Bulk testing is not available for students in the  Diploma in Built Environment Project Management program.  Individual exam registration is required.
