A programme is a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and control not available from managing them individually.
Programme management is distinct from project management. While projects and programmes operate in parallel and have interdependencies, they are quite different in their contribution to the enterprise. Effective programme management balances and optimizes people and dollars across projects, enabling the organisation to prioritize and fund the programmes that drive the most value.
This training provides knowledge, practical insights and real-world examples of effective programme management. Our content is aligned to the Project Management Institute’s Standard for Program Management. Case studies are used to apply the theory presented in a practical manner.
